An influx of new residents is accelerating population growth, creating durable demand for housing in the region. The Fort Walton Beach-Destin-Crestview MSA experienced a 26% population growth 2020-2024, according to the Florida Office of Economic & Demographic Research. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the Daphne–Fairhope–Foley MSA grew from 182,000 residents in 2010 to more than 260,000 today.
