Workers should review their expiration date and certification status rather than assume that an older design requires immediate renewal.

For employers reviewing training records, TABC recommends verifying seller/server certification through its official certificate inquiry system. The agency also allows individuals to print proof of certification showing details such as the issue date, expiration date, certificate number and status.

Recently completed training may not appear in the database immediately. TABC advises that certification records should be available for verification 14 calendar days after course completion. Workers seeking a duplicate of their original certificate can contact the school that provided their training.
